The KAMA cardboard and paper mill, part of the Sveza industrial holding, invested over 610 million rubles in equipment upgrades and infrastructure development over the first nine months of 2026. Key projects include modernizing the wastewater system's pumping equipment, upgrading the heating main, and repairing the industrial site's road network. The work is aimed at improving the reliability of production processes, reducing heat loss, and ensuring safe traffic on the mill's premises.

In 2026, KAMA began upgrading the pumping equipment at its industrial wastewater pumping station. The program is scheduled to run until 2029. During the first phase, the plant invested 8.4 million rubles in modernization and installed one of four planned pumping units. This equipment upgrade is designed to ensure uninterrupted pumping of wastewater from the plant and external users to KAMA's biological treatment facilities (BTF). The station building will also be renovated this year.

Before the start of the heating season, KAMA completed the renovation of two heating main lines totaling 950 meters. The project investment amounted to 20 million rubles. The previous pipes were replaced with metal pipes insulated with polyurethane foam. They are designed to last at least 50 years, and the plant estimates that heat loss during transportation will be 2-5%. The heating main supplies heat to seven production buildings.

Road infrastructure repairs at the industrial site are in their final stages. The project cost is 80 million rubles. The work includes upgrades to the roadway, pedestrian walkways, and parking lots, and is being completed in stages. Once completed, travel within the site will be safer and more convenient for employees and truck drivers arriving at the plant daily.

" In the third quarter, we focused primarily on infrastructure projects. The reliability of utility networks, roads, and water disposal facilities directly impacts the stability of large-scale production. Therefore, we are consistently upgrading our infrastructure, focusing on both the uninterrupted nature of technological processes and the safety of employees and partners. In the fourth quarter, priority will shift to strategic projects aimed at increasing finished product production capacity," emphasized Roman Seravin , Executive Director of KBK KAMA.
