The KAMA cardboard and paper mill, part of the Sveza industrial holding, sold over 112,500 tons of coated packaging board (FBB) in the first six months of 2026. This represents a 6% increase compared to the same period last year. This growth was driven by a strengthened position in the domestic market and the introduction of new import-substituting brands, which expanded the company's product portfolio.

KAMA is steadily increasing its FBB (Folding Box Board) production capacity. The plant currently produces five types of this product. KAMA Pharma (Pharma) has demonstrated the most significant growth: in the first half of the year, sales of this brand increased by 19% compared to the same period in 2025. The cardboard is in demand for pharmaceutical packaging, in the perfume and confectionery industries, and in the production of children's interactive books.

The product is manufactured on cardboard machine No. 9 (KDM No. 9), with a monthly capacity of over 20,000 tons. The entire product line is in high demand. A well-developed logistics infrastructure facilitates the expansion of sales geography. Shipments are made by road and rail, and the distribution center network includes four sites in the Perm Krai, Moscow and Leningrad Oblasts, and the Udmurt Republic.

"The Russian cardboard market maintained high consumer activity in the first half of the year. Reaching the 112,500-ton mark is a significant achievement, especially considering the fierce price competition from Chinese manufacturers and the impact of the strong ruble. Since the commissioning of KDM No. 9, we have been consistently moving towards import substitution, increasing our market share. Thanks to regular customer feedback and the modernization of our quality control systems, our current products fully meet the needs of domestic processors," commented Roman Seravin , Executive Director of KBK KAMA.

Developing its product portfolio remains a key growth area for the plant. KAMA has already launched cardboard with improved barrier properties for specialized packaging. Going forward, the company plans to continue developing new market niches and expanding its product range, including through solutions capable of replacing imported products.
