KAMA Mill Hosts First 2026 Customer Day Showcasing Automated Production

Krasnokamsk, Russia – KAMA cardboard and paper mill, part of the Sveza Group, has held its first customer day of 2026, welcoming representatives from printing and publishing companies across 12 Russian regions.

The event, organized in collaboration with distributor Europapir, brought together 30 partners, offering a detailed look at the mill’s automated production processes. Guests toured key facilities, including paper machine PM #7 and cardboard machine KDM #9, observing the full production chain from raw materials to finished products.

According to the company, the machines are equipped with intelligent monitoring systems that track product quality in real time. Production Director Evgeny Zakhvataev said raw materials are inspected at every stage, with machine vision systems overseeing production processes continuously.

Following the plant tour, the company presented its product portfolio, including new cardboard and paper grades. Olga Soboleva introduced the range during a seminar session attended by industry representatives.

Feedback from participants highlighted product quality and production standards. Olga Sokolova said her company uses KAMA Strong GC2 cardboard for disposable tableware, noting that the material accounts for a significant share of its cup outer layer production.

KAMA said it hosts approximately 250 guests annually during its customer days, providing industry partners with insight into its operations. Attendees at the latest event indicated plans to expand cooperation, citing reliability and stability in domestic cardboard supply.
