The KAMA cardboard and paper mill, part of the Sveza forestry group, has produced its one millionth ton of coated packaging cardboard. This milestone traces back to April 2021 when the FBB production line launched, marking progress in import substitution for the Russian market.

Cardboard Machine No. 9 (KDM-9) exceeded its original 220,000-ton design capacity by 9% by end-2025 through steady modernization of the FBB line. Total investments since 2016 total 27.6 billion rubles. KAMA now holds over 50% of Russia's domestic coated packaging cardboard market.

A ceremony marked the achievement in the KDM-9 shop, with main and auxiliary production staff attending. A commemorative inscription adorns the symbolic roll.

KAMA offers five grades of coated cardboard from 170 to 380 g/m², meeting quality standards with demand in Russia and CIS countries. "Reaching the one million-tonne mark confirms the effectiveness of our chosen production model and the soundness of our investment decisions. This result was made possible by the daily work and professionalism of the entire company team," said Roman Seravin, KAMA mill Executive Director.

Future plans include expanding product lines, deepening raw material processing, and adopting eco-friendly technologies.
