Kemira has Completed the Acquisition of SIDRA Wasserchemie

Kemira has successfully completed the acquisition of SIDRA Wasserchemie, following an approval from the German Federal Cartel Office. The acquisition strengthens Kemira’s Water Solutions business in Western and Central Europe and was initially announced on February 11, 2026.

SIDRA Wasserchemie is a producer of coagulants with two production facilities located in Germany, serving municipal and industrial water treatment customers across Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. In 2025, the company reported approximately EUR 40 million in revenue and an EBITDA of about EUR 12 million. SIDRA Wasserchemie’s approximately 60 employees have now joined Kemira.
