Kemira Oyj released its Financial Statements Bulletin for 2025, highlighting solid profitability amid continued weak market conditions. Full-year revenue fell 5% to €2,753.5 million from €2,903.5 million (adjusted), with local currency revenue excluding acquisitions/divestments down 4% due to lower sales volumes and prices across all business units.

Operative EBITDA declined 18% to €324.4 million, while operative EBIT dropped 19%, reflecting market softness particularly in packaging, pulp, and hygiene sectors. Q4 revenue decreased 8% to €663.7 million, with operative EBITDA at €119.9 million (18% margin). Net profit for the year was €194.1 million, with diluted EPS at €1.18.

Water Solutions revenue fell 14% in local currencies due to pricing and volume declines, though operative EBITDA rose 2% from cost controls. Packaging & Hygiene Solutions and Fiber Essentials also faced demand challenges. Kemira maintained a 22% effective tax rate, with net finance costs at €24.2 million.
