Klabin joined the list of organizations committed to the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) recommendations through publication of its Transition to Nature Plan. This initiative reinforces the company's transparency in managing dependencies, impacts, risks, and financial opportunities related to biodiversity.

The adoption aligns Klabin's sustainability strategy with global standards, building on prior commitments like Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi), where it became Latin America's first pulp and paper producer with approved emission reduction goals. Klabin also supports TCFD for climate-related disclosures and Business Ambition for 1.5°C.

TNFD integration enhances forestry management practices, including FSC and PEFC certifications, zero deforestation policies, and biodiversity conservation across operations. The company maintains long-term commitments to environmental, social, and economic standards in eucalyptus and pine cultivation.

Klabin's sustainability policy emphasizes reducing greenhouse gas emissions, responsible water management, pollution prevention, and compliance with product safety regulations while promoting local development.
