Klingele Paper & Packaging Group is boosting corrugated packaging capacity at its Wunsiedel, Germany, plant with a new highly automated line built around an EMBA QS Ultima 215, supported by an Alliance pre-feeder, Signode bundling system and MUK robot. The installation automates the full flow from corrugated sheet to finished, bundled packaging: large sheets are now automatically fed, then blanks are printed, cut, folded, glued and bundled without manual packing, widening format and quality options for customers while improving reliability. By removing heavy manual tasks and clarifying workflows, operators can concentrate on setup, monitoring and quality assurance, helping secure stable operations and consistent box performance. Commissioning included comprehensive staff training, removal of an older line and installation of a new industrial floor, aligning with Klingele’s plan to modernise Norpack Wunsiedel, a key site for small and medium runs with high product variety.
