Koehler Paper, part of the Koehler Group and one of the world's leading manufacturers of thermal paper, will increase prices for thermal paper by 8% for new orders in selected markets, effective July 1, 2026. This measure particularly affects highly competitive markets where price levels remain significantly below international benchmarks. The objective is to achieve a sustainable alignment with global pricing structures. The price adjustment is driven by ongoing cost increases for raw materials used in the production of thermal paper, as well as for energy – especially gas – and in the global freight and logistics structure. These developments have increasingly impacted production costs and placed a noticeable strain on the stability of supply chains in recent months. Despite comprehensive measures to further optimize internal processes and improve efficiency, this price adjustment is necessary to ensure a stable and reliable supply as well as the consistently high quality of products. As usual, Koehler Paper’s sales team will inform all customers individually about the adjustments.
