Kuantum Papers Reports FY26 Profit of Rs. 41.95 Crore, Board Recommends Dividend

Kuantum Papers Ltd. has reported a net profit of Rs. 41.95 crore for the financial year ended March 31, 2026, while revenue from operations stood at Rs. 1,093.16 crore, according to audited financial results approved by the company’s board of directors on May 26.

The paper manufacturer recorded profit before tax of Rs. 56.55 crore in FY26, compared with Rs. 155.38 crore in FY25. Net profit declined from Rs. 115.18 crore in the previous year. Total comprehensive income for FY26 was Rs. 41.78 crore.

For the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2026, revenue from operations increased to Rs. 300.94 crore from Rs. 277.35 crore in the corresponding quarter a year earlier. Quarterly net profit stood at Rs. 14.34 crore, compared with Rs. 26.12 crore in the year-ago period.

The board has recommended a dividend of Rs. 2.50 per equity share of Re. 1 each, amounting to Rs. 21.82 crore, subject to shareholder approval at the annual general meeting.

Kuantum Papers said it operates in a single business segment, manufacturing and sale of paper.

As of March 31, 2026, the company’s total assets stood at Rs. 2,398.86 crore, compared with Rs. 2,112.76 crore a year earlier. Total equity increased to Rs. 1,228.32 crore from Rs. 1,212.71 crore.

The company reported net cash generated from operating activities of Rs. 219.16 crore during FY26, while capital expenditure and related investing activities resulted in net cash outflow of Rs. 321.24 crore.

Kuantum Papers stated that its statutory auditor, O P Bagla & Co LLP, issued an unmodified opinion on the audited financial results for FY26.
