Lemit Papers has announced a new phase of capital investment aimed at expanding its production capacity and strengthening operational efficiency, through an extended partnership with Kadant Lamort.

The company will install a 150 tonnes per day (TPD) deinking pulp (DIP) line along with a 100 TPD back layer stock preparation system as part of its ongoing capacity expansion strategy. The project builds on previous collaborations between the two firms and reflects continued confidence in Kadant Lamort’s technology in recycled paper processing.

According to the company, the new installations are expected to enhance production efficiency and support improved quality in recycled paper manufacturing. The investment aligns with Lemit Papers’ broader focus on operational excellence and long-term value creation.

The DIP line will enable the processing of recovered paper into high-quality pulp by removing inks and contaminants, a key step in recycled paper production. The back layer system is designed to optimize fiber utilization and support consistent output for downstream processes.

The collaboration also underscores a shared commitment to sustainability and innovation within the paper industry. By upgrading its infrastructure, Lemit Papers aims to strengthen its position in recycled paper manufacturing while addressing increasing demand for environmentally responsible production practices.

This development marks a continuation of Lemit Papers’ strategic efforts to scale operations through targeted technology investments and partnerships with established industry suppliers.
