Lenzing AG earned its fourth consecutive CDP Triple "A" rating across climate change, forests, and water security, placing it among only 23 companies worldwide out of over 22,000 that disclosed environmental data in 2025. This recognition from the global nonprofit CDP—the world's largest environmental database and gold standard for reporting aligned with TCFD—highlights Lenzing's transparent performance and leading role in corporate sustainability. The ratings serve as key decision-making tools for investors and business partners.
Georg Kasperkovitz, Member of the Managing Board, stated: "The renewed Triple A confirms our commitment to driving sustainability forward in a consistent and measurable way. The improvements in water and forest management and maintaining climate rating at the same level demonstrate how effectively our teams are working on the key levers. We will continue on this path with determination and actively help shape the transformation of our industry."
Lenzing pursues ambitious goals in decarbonization, sustainable raw material procurement, and responsible water use. The company sources wood and fiber pulp exclusively from sustainable origins, optimizes raw material efficiency, enhances energy performance, and invests in renewables. Progress details appear in the 2024 Sustainability Report, with the 2025 Annual and Sustainability Report scheduled for March 19, 2026.
