Lenzing AG, a leading producer of specialty cellulose fibers for textiles and nonwovens, announced on December 9, 2025, that CEO Rohit Aggarwal is resigning for personal reasons, effective January 31, 2026. Post-departure, the company transitions to a three-member Managing Board to ensure continuity amid its focus on sustainable fiber innovations derived from pulp. The Supervisory Board has launched a search for a new CEO, with an announcement planned soon.​

Despite the leadership change, Lenzing confirms its 2025 EBITDA guidance based on year-to-date performance and positive market outlook, projecting year-on-year growth. This stability reflects resilience in the cellulose sector, driven by demand for eco-friendly lyocell and viscose fibers in apparel, hygiene products, and industrial applications.
