Lenzing Aktiengesellschaft has updated its shareholder structure following the successful completion of its capital increase, confirming that the shareholder syndicate comprising B&C Group and Suzano S.A. continues to hold approximately 52.25% of the company’s voting rights.
According to recently published participation notifications, B&C Group holds 39.6% of Lenzing’s voting rights, while Suzano International Trade GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of Suzano S.A., holds the remaining 12.6%.
Suzano Holding S.A., the controlling shareholder of Suzano S.A., also acquired shares in Lenzing in connection with the capital increase. Its holding corresponds to approximately 0.80% of Lenzing’s shares. Separately, The Goldman Sachs Group holds 5.86% of Lenzing shares.
Mathias Breuer, CFO of Lenzing, welcomed the direct investment by Suzano Holding, noting that the company is already represented in the shareholder syndicate alongside B&C Group.
“Our shareholders’ strong participation in the capital increase, as well as the developments in our shareholder structure, demonstrate their commitment to Lenzing and our strategic transformation,” Breuer said.
The updated shareholder structure reflects the continued participation of B&C Group and Suzano in Lenzing following the capital increase, alongside the direct investment by Suzano Holding and the shareholding reported by The Goldman Sachs Group.
