Marbach presents DZL|foil, an innovative solution for digital zone levelling in corrugated board die-cutters. The system precisely compensates for unevenness in the cutting platen, ensuring uniform pressure conditions and significantly reducing set-up time.

In corrugated board die-cutters, height tolerances in the cutting platen are a frequent cause of uneven die-cutting results and time-consuming set-up work. The DZL|foil digital zone levelling system provides a remedy here: based on an impression, an individually customized foil with a precisely matched height profile is produced. This reliably compensates for height tolerances, replacing the protection plates is generally not necessary.

DZL|foil offers a simple, economical, and reproducible solution to the challenges of the die-cutting process. The individually manufactured foil reduces manual zone levelling almost completely. This significantly reduces set-up time, the machine is ready for production faster, and quality remains consistently high.

DZL|foil is also impressive in terms of handling. The foil can be applied quickly and easily and removed again if necessary. Existing make-ready sheets can still be used, which makes the application particularly flexible and economical.
