Mitsubishi Paper Mills Limited has commenced operations at a newly established “Head Office Satellite Office” within its Kyoto Plant, utilizing an existing building at its facility in Nagaokakyo, Kyoto Prefecture.
The satellite office was completed and became operational on April 9, 2026. The initiative is part of the company’s business continuity planning (BCP) strategy, aimed at geographically dispersing head office functions while promoting operational reforms closely aligned with on-site activities.
Approximately 200 employees, primarily from corporate planning and administrative divisions, have been relocated to the new office and have begun their operations there.
The company has designed the workspace to encourage cross-departmental communication and foster creative thinking. Mitsubishi Paper Mills stated that the satellite office will serve as a central hub for advancing organizational reform initiatives.
