The Supervisory Board of Mayr-Melnhof Karton AG has appointed Andreas Koppitz (46) and Alexander Loimayr (47) to the Management Board with effect from September 1, 2026 for a term of three years. Following these appointments, the Management Board of MM Group will consist of five members: Peter Oswald (CEO), Franz Hiesinger (CFO), Roman Billiani (Food & Premium Packaging division), Andreas Koppitz (Pharma & Healthcare Packaging division) and Alexander Loimayr (Board & Paper division). By expanding the Management Board with two proven executives from its own ranks, the Company is responding both to the size and growing complexity of the Group as well as to increasing demands.
Andreas Koppitz has been responsible for the still-young division Pharma & Healthcare Packaging since 2022. Under his leadership, the business has been successfully positioned, profitability has been significantly improved, and a solid foundation for sustainable long-term expansion has been established, which he will continue to lead in the years ahead. He brings more than 20 years of international leadership experience in the packaging and industrial goods industries.
Alexander Loimayr has led the Board & Paper division since mid-2025, having previously served as its CFO. With more than two decades of international leadership experience in the materials, construction, paper and packaging industries, he possesses the expertise and capabilities required to steer and further develop the division in a demanding market environment.
Wolfgang Eder, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of MM Group, comments: "With Andreas Koppitz and Alexander Loimayr, we are expanding the Management Board with two distinguished executives who have delivered outstanding results in their respective areas of responsibility at MM. The expansion of the Management Board strengthens our leadership structure, broadens the management base and creates the conditions to address the diverse opportunities and demands of the years ahead with even greater strength."
