MM Group Orders LoSolids Continuous Cooking Plant from ANDRITZ

ANDRITZ will supply MM Kwidzyn mill with a LoSolids continuous cooking plant to replace its existing batch digester, enabling flexible production of softwood and hardwood pulp. The upgrade targets major reductions in energy use and CO₂ emissions. Start-up is planned for Q4 2026.​

The scope includes a single-vessel digester for uniform cooking and versatility, a Turbofeed chip feeding system with Diamondback chip bin to optimize presteaming and pulp quality, and a vapor reboiler for enhanced heat recovery and lower odorous gas emissions.​
