Mondi Secures Nine WorldStar Packaging Awards 2026 for Innovation

Mondi, a global leader in sustainable packaging and paper, received nine WorldStar Packaging Awards 2026 from the World Packaging Organisation (WPO), recognizing excellence in design, technology, and sustainability. The awards highlight paper-based, recyclable, and high-performance solutions serving eCommerce, food, transit, electronics, and consumer goods sectors. This success underscores Mondi's progress in replacing less sustainable materials and advancing circular economy practices.​

Among the winners is a collaboration with Werner & Mertz: the Frosch fabric softener stand-up pouch, a 100% recyclable solution incorporating post-consumer recycled plastic. The awards ceremony occurs May 8 in Düsseldorf, Germany.​
