Moorim Paper Maintains Board Structure, Confirms Leadership and Dividend Decisions at Annual General Meeting
Moorim Paper Co., Ltd., a leading paper-specialized company in South Korea, has confirmed the continuation of its existing five-member board structure following its 53rd Annual General Meeting of Shareholders held on March 24 at its headquarters in Jinju.
At the meeting, shareholders approved the reappointment of Lee Jong-cheol, head of the management planning office, as an inside director. Outside director Mo Cheol-in was also reappointed and will continue to serve as an Audit Commissioner.
With these decisions, Moorim Paper will retain its current governance framework. The board continues to be chaired by Lee Do-gyun, CEO of Moorim Paper, who oversees the broader Moorim Group while concurrently serving as CEO of affiliated companies Moorim SP and Moorim P&P.
In addition, outside directors Park Si-jong, a former adviser at YulChon Law LLC, and Lee Gwan-jik, formerly of the Board of Audit and Inspection, will continue in their roles as Audit Commissioners.
Shareholders also approved the company’s financial statements for the fiscal year. Moorim Paper reported consolidated sales of 1.2649 trillion won and an operating profit of 5.9 billion won.
The meeting further finalized dividend distributions, with the company declaring a cash dividend of 125 won per common share, amounting to a total payout of approximately 5.2 billion won.
"The continuation of our current board structure reflects stability in governance and a commitment to consistent strategic execution as we navigate evolving market conditions," a company representative stated.
Moorim Paper remains focused on strengthening operational efficiency and delivering value to shareholders while maintaining its leadership position in the paper and specialty materials sector.
