Orient Paper & Industries has appointed Yogendra K. Varshney as its Chief Operating Officer, effective June 30, 2026, following the resignation of C.S. Kashikar from the position.
The company disclosed the senior management changes under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Regulations. The Board accepted Kashikar's resignation, which took effect at the close of business on June 29, 2026. According to the company, he stepped down from his role as Chief Operating Officer of the Amlai Paper Mills at the Amlai plant for personal reasons.
The Board also recorded its appreciation for Kashikar's contributions during his tenure with the company.
Varshney brings more than 30 years of experience in manufacturing operations, production management, and project execution. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Institute of Engineering & Technology, Lucknow University.
Prior to joining Orient Paper, Varshney served as Executive Director (Operations) and Chief Risk Officer at Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Ltd. His previous leadership roles also include Chief Operating Officer at Genus Paper & Boards Ltd., Senior Vice President – Plant Operations at Kuantum Papers Ltd., Head (Process) at Century Pulp & Paper, Production Manager at Reckitt Benckiser India Pvt. Ltd., and Senior Executive at Hindustan Unilever Ltd.
According to the company, Varshney's appointment became effective on June 30, 2026, and will continue until his resignation or retirement in accordance with the company's policy, whichever occurs earlier.
