Papierfabrik Palm was recognized as a finalist in two categories at the 18th German Sustainability Prize (DNP) in December 2025 in Düsseldorf: DNP 2026 Companies and DNP 2026 Products. The selection process evaluated companies on transformation performance, innovation, signaling effect, and scalability of sustainability strategies.

In the Companies category, Palm was honored as a leader in the "Paper, Cardboard, and Carton" sector. The jury highlighted Palm's introduction of ultra-lightweight packaging papers with high strength properties, enabling replacement of fresh fiber papers and supporting customers in producing corrugated packaging that substitutes plastic in certain applications. Energy supply relies on efficient combined heat and power plants, production residues, and plans for green hydrogen.

Palm also advanced to the Products category finalists with Palm Kraft and Palm Diamond, two innovative papers in the Resources transformation field. Both are produced 100% from recycled paper, exemplifying circular economy and resource conservation principles.

Papierfabrik Palm ranks among Europe's leading producers of graphic papers and corrugated raw papers, as well as sustainable corrugated packaging. As a fifth-generation family business, it emphasizes reliability, innovation, and sustainable management.
