Paracel Begins Port Pile Installation for Paraguay’s First Pulp Mill

Paracel, in partnership with T&C Ingeniería de Topografías y Caminos, has begun installing the first piles for its port infrastructure in Paso Horqueta, Concepción, marking progress on the foundations for the port, the Industrial Development Hub and Paraguay’s first pulp mill.

The piles form part of the foundations for the port, which is planned as a key component of the Industrial Development Hub and the pulp mill’s operations.

The port is intended to support future pulp exports and provide access to international markets. It will also serve industries established within the Industrial Development Hub, enabling the receipt of supplies and facilitating access to global markets.

Paracel said the project is part of one of the most significant private investments in Paraguay, with the potential to support sustainable development and contribute to the country’s position as a competitive player in the region.
