Penha Group Starts South America's First NGC Corrugator with MHI EMEA in Brazil

Penha Group has successfully launched South America's first NGC Corrugator at its Itapira factory in Brazil through a partnership with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries EMEA Ltd. Corrugating & Printing Machinery Division. This 2.5m singlewall line marks a technological advancement, operating at 400 m/min with MHI's gapless order change system. Giacomo Bettini, Senior Sales Representative at MHI EMEA, confirmed the startup proceeded flawlessly, producing high-quality board right away and achieving full speed quickly. The installation underscores a decades-long collaboration between the two companies, built on trust in reliable technology and coordinated team efforts that met the schedule. Joint teams from MHI and Penha executed the project seamlessly. This upgrade strengthens Penha's position in the corrugated packaging market by enabling higher volumes of consistent, premium products for customers.
