Pro-Gest to Permanently Close Cartitalia Containerboard Mill in Italy

Italian packaging and tissue producer Pro-Gest will permanently shut down its recycled corrugated case material mill, Cartitalia, located in Mesola, northern Italy, by the end of 2025. Production at the Cartitalia site had already been shifted to Pro-Gest’s Mantova mill about a year ago, reflecting an internal consolidation of operations.
