RDM Group Hosts EPPA Delegation at Paprinsa Mill to Discuss Sustainability and Circularity

On January 20, RDM Group, through its membership in the European Paper Packaging Alliance (EPPA), hosted an EPPA delegation at its Paprinsa mill in Mollerussa, Spain, for a working visit focused on sustainability, circularity, and industrial excellence. The visit included Albert Planell, Director General of the Catalan Waste Agency; Jordi Serra, RDM Group Paprinsa Mill Manager; Marc Solsona, Mayor of Mollerussa; and Clara Porta, ACCIÓ delegate in Lleida, strengthening dialogue between public authorities and industry. The group toured the mill operations and product quality, followed by discussions on innovations that optimize packaging performance for consumers while minimizing environmental impact. This engagement occurs as Europe enters the implementation phase of the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation. Achieving EU objectives requires public-private collaboration for clear, aligned rules that promote circularity, enable investments, and bolster Europe's industrial resilience and strategic autonomy.
