Rengo Acquires Shares in Corrugated Packaging Manufacturer in Thailand

Rengo Co., Ltd. announces that its joint venture in Thailand, Thai Containers Group Co., Ltd. (TCG), has approved an investment project to acquire 90% of the shares in Jin Zhong Fa Paper Industrial Co., Ltd., a corrugated packaging manufacturer in Thailand.
Jin Zhong Fa Paper Industrial is a corrugated packaging manufacturer with one corrugated plant located in Chonburi Province, in central Thailand.
Through TCG, the Rengo Group has 15 corrugated plants, three flexible packaging plants, and one heavy duty packaging plant in Thailand. Following this acquisition of shares, the Group now has 16 corrugated plants in total.
Rengo positions its corrugated packaging business in Southeast Asia, including Thailand, as an important strategic focus for the overseas operations of the Rengo Group as the General Packaging Industry (GPI), and we will continue to drive further enhancement of the business in the future.
