Renova, a Portuguese tissue paper manufacturer, has been recognized with the 2026 Five Star Award for its TextilPapier toilet paper, a premium solution that combines textile recycling and circular economy principles.
This award marks the 12th time Renova has won the Five Star Award in Portugal and, simultaneously, the brand's first distinction in Spain, highlighting the product's recognition in international markets as well.
Launched in 2025, Renova TextilPapier is the result of a patented technology that allows the reuse of end-of-life textiles, such as t-shirts and jeans, transformed into toilet paper and kitchen rolls. The solution contributes to the reduction of waste destined for landfills or incineration, integrating industrial innovation with circular economy practices.
The product line is already present in markets such as Germany, Norway, the United Kingdom, Lithuania, China, and South Korea, and is currently in the process of entering the French market as part of the brand's internationalization strategy.
The Five Star Award is granted based on direct consumer evaluation, considering criteria such as overall satisfaction, innovation, and perceived quality.
