Rondocarton Announces €6 Million Investment Plan for 2026 to Advance Automation and Renewable Energy

Rondocarton, one of Romania’s leading corrugated cardboard producers and part of the Austrian group Rondo Ganahl, has announced a planned investment of approximately €6 million for 2026, reinforcing its commitment to operational efficiency and sustainable production.

The 2026 investment program will focus on two major initiatives: the automation of internal transport processes at the company’s production facility in Târgovişte, and the development of a photovoltaic-based electricity generation system at its Cluj site. These projects are aimed at enhancing productivity while further reducing the company’s environmental footprint.

This follows a similarly scaled investment program in 2025, when Rondocarton allocated nearly €6 million toward the installation of a new six-color flatbed printing and die-cutting line in Cluj, as well as a renewable energy facility equipped with photovoltaic panels in Târgovişte. The advanced printing and stamping technologies enable the transformation of corrugated cardboard packaging into high-impact branding and advertising solutions.

Rondocarton reported a turnover of approximately €145 million in 2025, marking an 11% increase compared to the previous year. The company anticipates stabilizing revenues at a similar level in 2026 amid evolving market conditions.
