Runtech Systems has introduced the RunPro Easy4 Web Stabilizer, a new generation solution designed to improve runnability and efficiency in paper machine dryer sections.
The RunPro Easy4 combines sheet stabilization with adjustable vacuum control, enabling operators to optimize performance based on paper grade, machine speed, and moisture conditions. The system is aimed at improving sheet stability across the dryer section, reducing breaks, and supporting higher machine speeds while lowering energy consumption.
According to the company, the stabilizer features a consumable-free design, eliminating recurring material-related costs and removing the need for annual maintenance outages. Its airflow concept is engineered to deliver strong sheet support with relatively low energy input, addressing efficiency demands in energy-intensive dryer operations.
Teemu Juselius, Product Manager at Runtech Systems, stated that the Easy4 is designed to integrate into broader efforts to improve overall machine runnability, including managing unsupported draws, controlling pocket airflow, and stabilizing sheet transfer.
The system also incorporates a maintenance-focused design. A slide-out nozzle configuration allows operators to access components from outside confined dryer pockets, reducing downtime and simplifying servicing procedures.
Jussi Lahtinen, Sales Director at Runtech Systems, noted that the technology has already been deployed, with additional installations scheduled during 2026. Early customer feedback, he said, indicates positive operational results following startup.
RunPro Easy4 builds on the company’s existing stabilizer technology, introducing enhancements intended for modern high-speed paper machines while supporting cost efficiency and operational reliability.
