Russian Strike Destroys Snow Panda Warehouse Complex in Odesa Region for Second Time

A Russian strike on September 22 completely destroyed the warehouse complex of Ukrainian paper-products manufacturer Snow Panda in Odesa Oblast, the company said. The attack came after the facility sustained major damage in a Russian strike in early July.

“On September 22, our warehouse complex was completely destroyed for the second time as a result of an enemy strike,” the company reported on Facebook, according to UNN. The company said its employees survived the latest attack.

Snow Panda has not disclosed the full extent of the material losses, the volume of products stored at the facility when it was hit, or the potential impact on production, logistics and supplies to retail chains. The company also has not specified what type of weapon was used in the September 22 strike.

The warehouse complex was still being dealt with after the previous attack on July 1. According to the company, that strike caused a large fire and destroyed part of its production and warehouse facilities, while employees were also injured.

The facility served as an important production and logistics site, handling shipments of Snow Panda products and other brands produced by the company, including Gentle Touch, Zoo Zoo, Helper and Helper Professional. Following the July attack, the company said it was assessing the damage and restructuring parts of its production and logistics operations.

Snow Panda has operated in Ukraine since 2012. Its products are manufactured by Odesa-registered LLC Bloomi, which produces toilet paper, paper towels, paper and wet wipes and other sanitary and hygiene products. Its production facilities are located in Odesa Oblast, including a sanitary and hygiene products factory in the industrial zone of Teplodar.

According to the UkrPapir association, Bloomi increased production by 10.6% in 2024 to UAH 406.1 million. In January-July 2025, the company produced goods worth UAH 242 million, while cellulose-based toilet paper production rose 11% to 30.6 million rolls.

YouControl data cited by Forbes Ukraine showed Bloomi revenue of UAH 846.3 million in 2025, compared with UAH 793.6 million in 2024. Net profit increased from UAH 30.9 million to UAH 32.1 million over the same period.
