Moscow, Russia – Segezha Group has streamlined its environmental reporting processes through the implementation of a digital “Eco-platform” developed in collaboration with MTS, according to a company statement.

The platform is designed to automate the preparation and submission of environmental reports, reducing manual input and improving data accuracy. It consolidates environmental data across the company’s operations into a single digital system, enabling more efficient monitoring and compliance with regulatory requirements.

The Eco-platform is positioned as a domestic alternative to Western digital solutions, reflecting a broader trend among Russian companies to adopt locally developed technologies for sustainability reporting and ESG-related processes.

According to the report, the system allows Segezha Group to standardize reporting formats and accelerate the processing of environmental indicators. This is expected to enhance transparency and support the company’s environmental management practices.

The initiative forms part of Segezha Group’s wider efforts to integrate digital tools into its sustainability strategy, particularly in tracking environmental performance and meeting reporting obligations.

MTS contributed its technological expertise to the development and deployment of the platform, supporting the digital infrastructure required for data collection and analysis.

The companies did not disclose financial details or timelines for further expansion of the system.
