Seyfert's Reichenbach plant, part of PALM Packaging, has received the German Packaging Award 2026 in the Point of Sale category for a corrugated board display developed for Haleon.

The award-winning display was designed to provide a clear and highly visible product presentation at the point of sale. Its design features a large-scale representation of a Sensodyne or Sensodyne ProSchmelz tube, intended to make the product and brand readily recognisable while maintaining a clear presentation for consumers.

The display uses a simplified corrugated board construction with relatively few components. A shared structural basis is used for both mixed and single-product versions, with the versions differing only in their printed design. During assembly, only the components required for the relevant version are used.

According to Seyfert, this approach reduces the variety of components and simplifies storage, assembly and set-up while retaining flexibility for different requirements.

The jury of the German Packaging Award recognised the combination of construction, material and design. It highlighted the sturdy corrugated board construction, the appearance of the material and the clarity of the product presentation. The jury also cited the large-scale product tube as an effective visual feature that supports brand recognition.

The award recognises the packaging development work of Seyfert's team at its Reichenbach site. The company said the solution focuses on functionality, efficient use of materials and a design tailored to point-of-sale requirements.
