Shree Ajit Pulp and Paper Limited has resumed operations at its Unit 1 facility on a trial basis from the evening of October 11, 2026, following a disruption caused by severe flooding in Gujarat.
The company informed BSE Limited of the development in a filing dated October 12, 2026, under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The intimation continues earlier communications regarding the impact of the natural calamity on the facility.
Unit 1 is located near Morai Railway Crossing in Vapi, in Gujarat’s Valsad district. The facility had been rendered non-operational following the flooding, which caused waterlogging and infrastructure damage, according to the information provided.
The trial restart marks a step in the company’s efforts to restore operations at the affected unit. However, Shree Ajit Pulp and Paper has not disclosed a timeline for resuming full-scale production or returning to normal capacity utilisation.
The company has also not provided details of the financial impact of the disruption or the extent of any effects on production and supply chains.
Further updates on operational stabilisation and the restoration of production capacity may be provided through subsequent company disclosures.
