SKBK Expands Corrugated Packaging Capabilities with Launch of Two High-Tech Production Lines

Sukhonsky Cardboard and Paper Mill (SKBK), part of OBF Company, has announced the commissioning of two advanced corrugated cardboard processing lines, marking a significant step in the company’s strategy to expand its packaging portfolio and enhance production capabilities.

The newly launched lines enable SKBK to manufacture corrugated packaging with complex shapes and customized configurations, addressing growing demand for high-performance and visually distinctive packaging solutions.

The first installation, a YOCO JY-1650BS flat-bed die-cutting press, introduces high-precision cutting technology that allows for the production of intricate geometric designs. Unlike traditional rotary systems, the machine supports greater design flexibility while achieving a throughput of up to 5,500 sheets per hour. Integrated automation features, including a stripping system and automatic stack separation, reduce manual handling and improve operational efficiency.

Complementing this is the RITO Machinery JH-1700F-PCW automatic multi-point folder-gluer, designed to produce complex box configurations. With a modular setup, the system supports a wide range of packaging designs, including customized and multi-point boxes. Depending on product specifications, the line can operate at speeds of up to 300 meters per minute.
