On 20 May 2026, Smurfit Westrock announced its intention to delist its Ordinary Shares from the London Stock Exchange (“LSE”) (the “LSE Delisting”).
It is expected that the LSE Delisting will become effective from 8:00 a.m. (UK time) on 22 June 2026, such that the last day of trading of Ordinary Shares on the LSE will be 19 June 2026.
Smurfit Westrock’s primary listing has been on the New York Stock Exchange (“NYSE”) since July 2024. Once the LSE Delisting takes effect, Smurfit Westrock’s Ordinary Shares will be solely listed on the NYSE.
Ordinary Shares held in Depository Interest form
If you currently hold shares in Depository Interest (DI) form to facilitate trading on the LSE, your broker, custodian or nominee should be in contact with you regarding the management of your Smurfit Westrock shares after the LSE Delisting. Should you wish to transact in your shares held in DI form around or shortly after the LSE Delisting date then we recommend that you contact your broker, custodian or nominee well in advance of any planned transaction.
Ordinary Shares held in Depository Trust Company (DTC)
If you hold shares in DTC to facilitate trading on the NYSE, the LSE Delisting will have no impact on you.
Ordinary Shares held in Registered Form
If you currently hold your shares in Registered Form, the LSE Delisting will have no impact on you. If you intend to sell shares in the future, you should contact your broker, as usual, and they will set out the procedure to sell your shares on the NYSE.
