CDP, a leading independent organization for environmental performance assessment, awarded Sofidel an A- rating for Climate Change and an A- rating for Forests in 2025. The Sofidel Group, a global leader in hygienic and household tissue paper production under the Regina brand, earned recognition for combating climate change and responsibly managing forest resources. In forestry, CDP's new commodity-based assessment gave Sofidel an A score for Timber, the highest possible, validating sustainable pulp sourcing for tissue. Riccardo Balducci, Group Sustainability Director, stated these results underscore rigorous environmental commitments toward carbon neutrality by 2050 and supply chain integrity. Sofidel commits via Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) to Net Zero by 2050. All forest-based raw materials come from certified suppliers under FSC, FSC Controlled Wood, and PEFC standards. The Group joined WWF's Forests Forward initiative against deforestation, ecosystem preservation, and community rights. CDP evaluated over 22,100 companies worldwide in 2025.
