Sofidel, the paper group based in Porcari near Lucca, will attend Marca 2026 in Bologna on January 14 and 15. The event serves as a key international trade fair for private label consumer products.

Sofidel occupies Hall 30, Stand A19–B20, with an immersive booth featuring LED walls displaying videos on core values: loyalty and transparency, pragmatism and foresight, humility and courage, innovation and quality. Visitors explore the company’s history from 1960s origins to global operations across 12 countries, nearly 2 million tons annual capacity, and 9,600 employees.

The booth highlights the 2050 vision centered on decarbonization, circular economy, and responsible innovation. Enzo Ricci, Vice President – Marketing & Sales Private Label, noted: “For years, we have offered retailers in Italy and abroad innovative, sustainable private label products at an affordable price, certified by Sofidel’s quality guarantee. This is what we will continue to do in the coming months and years, accelerating responsible innovation with a range of products that are increasingly high-performing and attentive to emerging consumer needs.”.

Sofidel introduces the “Nicky Nature Bamboo” line of toilet paper and tissues blending pure cellulose with 10% bamboo fiber. Bamboo grows rapidly up to 1 meter daily, absorbs up to 150 tons CO₂ per hectare yearly, and requires less water and energy in production. Products undergo dermatological testing for softness and strength, packaged in 100% recyclable paper replacing plastic.

The Marca presence launches celebrations for Sofidel’s 60th anniversary, with initiatives planned throughout 2026.
