Palm has begun test operations at its new corrugated board plant in Alzenau, marking a key milestone in the development of the company’s packaging business.
Since the end of May 2026, the facility has been undergoing a phased commissioning process, with machinery and production systems being brought online step by step. According to the company, the start-up activities are progressing on schedule.
At the same time, customer orders are gradually being transferred to the new plant. Palm said the facility is already producing packaging solutions on its new equipment while maintaining its established quality and precision standards.
The launch of test operations represents an important stage for the future of the Alzenau site and for Palm’s packaging division. The company attributed the successful start-up to the collaboration and commitment of employees, the construction team, suppliers and partner companies involved in the project.
Palm thanked all participants for their contribution, noting that their expertise and cooperation played a significant role in achieving the milestone.
With the ramp-up phase now underway, the company is preparing for the next stage of the project as it moves toward full commissioning of the corrugated board plant in the coming months.
