Sun Paper Recognized Again for Standardization Leadership in China’s Paper Industry

Beijing, China – Sun Paper has been awarded the title of “Advanced Unit in Standardization Work of the National Paper Industry” at the first meeting of the Sixth National Technical Committee for Standardization of the Paper Industry, marking another recognition of its long-standing role in advancing industry standards.

The award highlights the company’s sustained involvement in standardization initiatives and its contribution to the development of China’s paper sector. Sun Paper has been engaged in national standardization efforts since 1997 and currently serves as the secretariat unit for the Cultural and Office Paper and Paperboard Subcommittee under the National Paper Industry Standardization Technical Committee.

Over the years, the company has participated in the formulation and revision of nearly 30 national and industry standards. These standards span key product categories including offset printing paper, dissolving pulp, and food packaging paper and paperboard, as well as several testing method standards. The work has supported improvements in technical performance and facilitated broader industry upgrades.

The recognition underscores the importance of standardization as a driver of quality and industrial development. Sun Paper stated that it plans to further strengthen its role in setting and aligning standards across the value chain, with a focus on enhancing innovation, promoting green and intelligent manufacturing, and supporting the sector’s transition toward more integrated development.

The company indicated that it will continue aligning its standards with international benchmarks while contributing to the modernization of China’s paper industry through higher-quality standardization practices.
