SupplyOne Acquires Wertheimer Box to Expand Midwest Packaging Operations

SupplyOne, Inc., a value-added distributor featuring corrugated converting capabilities, announced the acquisition of Wertheimer Box, a Chicago-area provider of corrugated packaging renowned for custom shipping boxes, branded packaging, e-commerce mailers, and specialty retail displays.

Established in 1939 by Ernest Wertheimer in McCook, Illinois, Wertheimer Box has developed into one of the region's largest independent corrugated packaging suppliers. Doug Wertheimer, Ernest's son, assumed the role of president in 2004 and broadened the company's services to include specialized e-commerce packaging, on-demand items, and digital printing.

This acquisition broadens SupplyOne's presence in the key Chicago market and bolsters its capacity to supply high-quality custom corrugated packaging throughout North America. Integrating Wertheimer Box's expertise in custom corrugated production with SupplyOne's nationwide reach and varied packaging offerings enables provision of expanded options like supplies and digital corrugated, quicker lead times, and improved services to clients.
