Suzano broke a new historical record by reaching 5.8 million tons of pulp shipped from its terminals in the Port of Santos (SP) in 2025, a 41% increase compared to 2024 (4.1 million tons). This number directly contributes to the sector's results in the foreign market: pulp exports closed 2025 with a 21% increase, totaling 9.9 million tons. Of this total, 58.8% was Suzano pulp, according to data from the Port of Santos.

“These consecutive records are the result of a constant pursuit to improve our operational efficiency, robust investments in the modernization and expansion of our port terminals, combined with the determination and commitment of our team. At Suzano, we have a guiding principle that says 'it's only good for us if it's good for the world,' and by expanding our logistics capacity, we are contributing to the strengthening of the national economy and, above all, to the generation of jobs and income in all the regions where we operate,” highlights Renan Volpatto, Executive Manager of Logistics at Suzano.

Terminals T32 and DPW – the latter operated by DP World – in the Port of Santos, are responsible for the outflow of production from the company's three factories in Três Lagoas and Ribas do Rio Pardo (MS), which together have a production capacity of 5.8 million tons of pulp/year, and in Jacareí (SP), with a capacity to produce 1.1 million tons per year.

The company's last recorded record occurred in December 2025, when Suzano reached a volume of 481,000 tons of pulp shipped in a single month. This performance represents a 2.6% increase compared to the previous record, registered in May of the same year, when 469,000 tons of pulp were shipped

INVESTMENTS IN TERMINALS

To handle the high volume of production, both terminals underwent expansion and modernization works. These works were part of a broad package of investments in the company's logistics, which enabled a 43.48% increase in the average annual cargo handling capacity of the port complex, from 4.6 million tons to 6.6 million tons of pulp per year. It also increased static capacity by approximately 42%, from 162,000 tons to approximately 230,000 tons.

In addition to the port terminals, the investments also included expansion and improvements to the rail transport system, responsible for transporting all of Suzano's factory production to the terminals in Santos. “With the investments in port terminals and rail transport, we reinforce our commitment to more sustainable and efficient logistics solutions. The use of rail represents our strategy to optimize the flow of goods and reduce gas emissions, contributing directly to the environment and combating climate change,” concludes Renan.
