Brazilian pulp producer Suzano is set to raise pulp prices by $20 per metric ton in China and other Asian markets from September, marking its first price increase in the region since April, according to an industry source.

Suzano last increased prices for customers in the region in April, when it also raised prices by $20 per metric ton, the source told Reuters.

The planned increase applies to China and other Asian markets and is scheduled to take effect in September.

The report did not provide further details on the factors behind the planned price adjustment.
