According to information released by the State Intellectual Property Office, Taizhou Anxi Packaging Co., Ltd. has obtained a utility model patent for a “flattening device for carton production,” under authorization announcement number CN223777946U, with an application date of April 2025. The patent falls within the field of carton production technology and focuses on improving the flatness control of cardboard boxes during processing.
The patented solution consists of a roller-type flattening body with a conveyor fixed to its rear end. The upper surface of the conveyor belt is aligned with the upper surface of the roller flattener’s conveyor belt, forming a continuous transport surface. A flatness measuring mechanism is installed on the conveyor, allowing operators to visually determine whether the flattened cartons meet the specified flatness standard in real time.
If a carton does not meet the flatness requirement, the device enables easy removal from the conveyor so that it can be returned to the roller flattener for a second flattening pass. This approach helps ensure that the final flatness meets the standard, reducing the risk that substandard flatness will affect subsequent processing steps or the finished product’s appearance. In addition, the design incorporates an adjustable-height baffle. This feature allows the device to adapt to cartons of different thicknesses, broadening its applicability in various carton production scenarios and improving overall operational flexibility.
