Tasowheel has entered into a partnership with PAPTECH as part of efforts to expand its presence in Vietnam’s pulp and paper industry.

Founded in 2009, PAPTECH was established to support the development of Vietnam’s pulp and paper sector and strengthen links between local mills and international technologies and suppliers. The company acts as an agency for machinery, equipment, raw materials, chemicals and spare parts, while also working with research institutes and universities on research and pilot projects for paper producers.

PAPTECH is led by founder Han, who has worked in the pulp and paper industry since 1998. His experience spans production, project engineering and technical management roles across several major paper companies in Vietnam. He has been involved in paper machine projects, tissue production, deinking operations and chemical applications.

The company currently focuses on supporting paper mills in Vietnam with modernization initiatives and performance improvements. According to PAPTECH, competition from other suppliers, particularly in the areas of new paper machines and headbox solutions, remains a key challenge in the market.

Through the partnership, PAPTECH and Tasowheel will introduce upgrade solutions for small and medium-sized paper machines. The collaboration is centered on profile control systems for headboxes, which play an important role in paper quality and machine performance. The companies see opportunities to improve existing installations through targeted upgrades.

The business relationship began in July 2025 following initial connections through industry networks. Since then, the companies have focused on delivering technology solutions and strengthening their competitiveness in the Vietnamese market.

Looking ahead, PAPTECH said the partnership combines Tasowheel’s technology with local market expertise and an international network of partners to help Vietnamese paper mills upgrade key systems and improve operational performance while supporting long-term cooperation.
