Torraspapel Strengthens its Commitment to Circularity Through the 4evergreen Alliance

Torraspapel is part of the 4evergreen alliance, reinforcing its commitment to helping shape a more circular future for fibre-based packaging in Europe.

Led by Cepi (Confederation of European Paper Industries), 4evergreen brings together more than 110 organisations from across the fibre-based packaging value chain, including pulp and paper producers, brands, recyclers and material suppliers. The alliance shares a common ambition: achieving a 90% recycling rate for fibre-based packaging in Europe by 2030.

As a manufacturer of specialty papers for packaging, labelling, food service and other demanding applications, Torraspapel brings its technical expertise and market experience to this cross-industry initiative. Through the alliance, we are fully aligned with its objectives and contribute to the development of practical tools such as the Recyclability Evaluation Protocol and the Circularity by Design Guidelines, helping translate regulatory developments like the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) into applicable criteria for the industry.
