Trident Group Unveils INR 2,000 Crore Expansion Plan in Punjab

Trident Group has announced a significant INR 2,000 crore investment to expand its operations in Punjab, aiming to enhance its production capabilities and infrastructure. The company will allocate INR 1,500 crore towards scaling up terry towel manufacturing and modernizing paper production facilities in Barnala. Additionally, INR 500 crore will be invested in Mohali to establish a new corporate office and a capacity-building center. Announced during a press conference led by Punjab’s Industry and Commerce Minister Shri Sanjeev Arora, this expansion is expected to generate approximately 2,000 new jobs, emphasizing the inclusion of semi-skilled rural women and the promotion of women’s empowerment. This strategic growth initiative strengthens Trident Group’s presence across multiple sectors and underscores its commitment to sustainable industrial development.
