Helsinki, Finland — UPM-Kymmene Oyj and Mark Andy have renewed their strategic partnership in the Americas for a seventh consecutive year, continuing a collaboration focused on label and packaging materials.
The agreement maintains UPM as a key supplier of self-adhesive label materials for Mark Andy’s customers across North and South America. The partnership supports converters using Mark Andy printing presses by providing access to UPM’s labelstock portfolio, alongside technical support and material compatibility.
Both companies said the long-standing relationship is aimed at improving operational efficiency for label converters through coordinated material and equipment solutions. The collaboration also includes joint efforts in product development, training, and customer support.
UPM highlighted that its label materials are designed to meet evolving requirements in packaging applications, including performance, sustainability, and regulatory compliance. Mark Andy noted that the continued partnership enables it to offer integrated solutions to its customer base, particularly in pressure-sensitive labels.
The renewal reflects ongoing demand in the Americas for reliable supply chains and close cooperation between material suppliers and equipment manufacturers in the label and packaging sector.
UPM operates globally in pulp, paper, and biomaterials, while Mark Andy specialises in narrow- and mid-web printing and finishing equipment used in label and packaging production.
