Valco Melton has Signed a Definitive Agreement to be Acquired by Graco Inc

Valco Melton has signed a definitive agreement to be acquired by Graco Inc. in an all-cash transaction.

Under the agreement, Valco Melton will become part of Graco’s Industrial division following the closing of the transaction, which is expected to occur during the third quarter of 2026.

Valco Melton, which has operated for 74 years, supplies adhesive dispensing and inspection systems to industrial and packaging markets. The company serves customers in 87 countries and employs more than 650 people globally.

The companies said the acquisition aligns two businesses with long-standing experience in material handling technologies and customer support across multiple industrial sectors. Valco Melton stated that it will continue providing solutions focused on improving product quality and manufacturing performance following completion of the transaction.

According to the announcement, the acquisition is expected to strengthen complementary capabilities between the two companies and support future global growth initiatives.

The company also acknowledged the contributions of current and former leadership figures, including Greg Amend, Rich Santefort and founder Buford Thomas, citing their role in building the organization and its customer-focused approach.
