Valmet and LC Paper Group have completed the startup of a new Perini MyGo tissue converting line at LC Paper’s facility in Fornells de la Selva, achieving full production within 16 days of shipment.
The project marks the deployment of Valmet’s Perini MyGo technology, which is designed to simplify installation and production startup through a preconfigured plug-and-play approach.
According to Valmet, the line is delivered with standard settings commonly used in the tissue market, reducing both installation requirements and startup times. The company said the design helps minimize implementation costs while enabling a faster transition to production.
The Perini MyGo platform also incorporates a modular architecture intended to simplify handling and relocation. Each unit includes integrated electrical panels that allow equipment to be disassembled and reassembled without reconnecting cables, supporting rapid installation and future production adjustments.
Valmet stated that the reduced startup time can help tissue producers accelerate the introduction of products to the market and respond more quickly to new business opportunities.
The company credited the joint efforts of the LC Paper and Valmet Tissue Converting teams for the successful startup and commissioning of the line.
The project highlights the focus on operational simplicity, installation efficiency and production flexibility in tissue converting operations.
